Welcome to our family-run animal sanctuary in the Catskills, just 13 minutes from Woodstock and Saugerties. This isn’t just a tour—it’s a chance to connect with our rescued animals, hear their incredible stories, and experience their unique personalities up close.

Every interaction is special because we let the animals set the pace. Our donkeys and goats eagerly soak up attention, while our emus cautiously but excitedly eat from your hand. Some animals love pets, others need space, and we honor their choices—though more often than not, they’re happy to meet new friends!

No matter the season, this experience is heartwarming, peaceful, and filled with moments worth capturing. By the end, you'll leave feeling inspired, refreshed, and connected to nature in a whole new way.

1 Hour Private Animal Tour

Overview:

Join us as we share the incredible stories of our rescued animals, delve into their unique personalities, and forge real connections with these sweet creatures. This tour is fun for all involved: from the visitors, to the guides who love their job, to the animals who love the opportunity to meet new people. This activity is beautiful and heartwarming in all weather and provides many opportunities for adorable photos. By the end, guests will feel connected to nature and inspired by some truly amazing stories. All tour fees directly support the care and well-being of our rescue animals, including their food and veterinary needs.

What To Expect:

Guests will gather at the horse barn as a starting point. The tour is private to ensure that all individuals get quality time with our beloved animals and none of the animals feel overwhelmed. Once everyone has arrived and a few simple guidelines have been shared, we will enter the horse pasture where Osa and Atlas will be waiting for us to give them pets while learning about their stories, the care they recieve, Osa's transition to partial blindness, and answering any questions folks have about horses. From the horses, we will head down the hill to see our four miniature donkeys who LOVE attention and butt scratches. Guests can take photos at any time but this is a particularly good opportunity! Next we meet our friendly goats, our pot-bellied pigs who may be napping or rooting around their garden, and our emus who will also get a sweet snack which guests can feed by hand. There are also rescue ducks, geese, and rabbits to admire from afar.

Cancellation Policy 

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. This experience may be cancelled due to inclement weather, but will not be cancelled for general rain or snow. If it’s canceled due to inclement weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
