Napping House farm is a shared dream-turned-reality by a mother-daughter team. Kim grew up on horseback in Australia and then moved to the city to become an established fashion designer in the luxury world. For her, this is the perfect place of balance: an aesthetically beautiful farm with land and animals - a mere 2 hours from New York City. Kim is in charge of decorating all the rental units and has had so much fun with it! Her daughter, Jaya dreamed of opening a safe, loving, healing space for animals in need of a home as well as learning how to live a sustainable, self-sufficient lifestyle. All of us love welcoming guests and have so much fun sharing local recommendations, giving tours of the animals, and helping to showcase the wonderful Hudson Valley and Catskills.
